This is the Flip Video Camcorder from Pure Digital. Every time I shop on Amazon they're advertising this thing and I've always thought it was too toy-like to be any good. Still though, I have been wanting a dv camera of some sort to play with. The price can't be beat at $150 for 30 mins and $180 for 60 mins. And by this review in the NY Times, it seems like it's worth it. Point and shoot, which is great. All you do is turn it on, push to record, and push to stop. You can preview it right there, and then when you want to upload it there is a USB plug right on the device to attach it directly to your computer. Et voila - YouTube fame instantly.
It's small, it's cute, it's easy to use. Pretty much what I look for in most gadgets. Ha!
