$40 Happy Ending?

Some photos from Museum Mile, yesterday. We hit up the rooftop at the Met for Jeff Koons' sculptures and the remains of Cai Guo-Qiang at the Guggenheim. We ended in Chinatown at Great NY Noodlehouse for some good, cheap food. Really wanted to go to the Whitney to see Mapplethorpe's Polaroids but the fools closed early.

Summer things I'm looking forward to:
Summer Rooftop Festival
At Summerstage, Dengue Fever July 5th and Thievery Corp, Seu Jorge, Bebel Gilberto & Turntables on the Hudson July 26th
At MoMA: Sigur Ros June 17
Good Morning America at Bryant Park: Cyndi Lauper 6/13, Boyz II Men 6/20, Feist 7/25

And that's just the top of the Slurpee - vote for Summer!

Grab the latest issue of the New Yorker: Adrian Tomine did another cover for them and Haruki Murakami writes about how he got into writing. Also included is a previously unpublished work by Nabokov, which starts out sounding Lolita-like but ends on a different note.
