Os Gemeos at Deitch. If you missed it, you lose. Beautiful, awesome installation. I love their use of color and their sense of humor and detail in their work.
Later that night, Gang Gang Dance at East River State Park. Last year the Boredoms performed in DUMBO with 77 drummers. This year, GGD and 88 drummers converged on the waterfront and blew my eardrums with rhythm. The last 15 minutes were a total frenzy - totally crazy and wonderful.
