Watched this yesterday on DVD. Ryan Gosling was amazing as usual but I thought the real star was Patricia Clarkson as his doctor. Very subtle, calm and steady. A good foil to his quiet neuroses. The movie was funny, in a heartbreaking kind of way. I don't want to call it quirky because I absolutely hate that word. Definitely try to watch it - watch yourself fall in love with a non-character.
